I was born in Aberdeen and since then have moved to Edinburgh. My influences range from the architecture of Antonio Gaudi to the late great Salvador Dali. I have always been interested in art ever since I was a kid, drawing cartoons, comic books and even graphic design. Its only in the last two years that I have taken my work seriously working with different mediums like acrylics and sculpture. Being born in 1985 the year of Donkey Kong I believe that some of the colour and style of the 80's rubbed off on my work.

I have always had a love for the work of the renaissance era like Michelangelo, Raphael and Da Vinci. My favourite artist is Salvador Dali, I first discovered him when I was doing standard grade art. His painting technique is a marvel to see and he compliments his ability with his twisted sense of reality. In the surrealist movement Dali was at the forefront of ideas composing of time, space and science. His fellow members of the movement adored him to the extend that they would create similar ideas around his influence. My longterm plan is to refine my skills as a painter and develop my reputation as an artist. The first step would be a combined exhibition with work from other artists, anyone interested apply within the contact form.
